My Son Ate My Calendar!

You've all heard the excuse..."My dog ate my homework!"

Well, today I went to go grab my appointment book which I often call my Bible because it holds EVERYTHING I need to know to function on a daily basis! I found it on the floor near the dining room table and there were a few remnants of wet and chewed paper next to it.

JOAQUIN ATE MY CALENDAR BOOK!!!

He helped himself to two pages...this week and next week...and now I'm totally LOST!!!

I'd be freaking out if it wasn't so darn funny. Silly...and apparently hungry...boy!

Now off to figure out what I had planned and scheduled for this week and next. Yikes! Just happens to be two very important and busy weeks in our lives right now!

  3. LOL! I can so relate - Malakai also has an 'aquired taste' for anything paper-related!
Hope you find your way through the next two weeks without forgetting too many appointments!

  5. Yes Jennifer, likely story. While I'm working at the schools I'll keep an ear out for more stories.
Well, maybe he just needed some fiber in his diet. :-))

  6. You need to keep in all in your phone! He can't eat that. . . or so we think!

  7. Ha! What a funny story. Madi loves paper too...she's never gone for my calendar though. I can only imagine how lost you feel without it!

  8. I think I would die if that happened to me. But a few years ago I switched to an e-calendar (iCal) so it's on my computer, phone, etc. Which is probably good because I'm sure Sheridan would do the same thing Joaquin did :) Maybe he's telling you he wants more fiber in his diet ;-)

We survived Whitney's second attempt at getting tubes today with no further paper-eating incidents! :)
