Living life one day at a time as a family of six...3 busy and bouncy boys and 1 Ukrainian princess. Our third son Joaquin was our unexpected blessing who came to us with a little something extra called Down syndrome and inspired us to adopt Sofia an orphan we fell in love with through Reece's Rainbow. We hope that our story will help open people's eyes to the beauty and gift that ALL children are. We are all more alike than different!

Her First Halloween!!!
What to "bee" for Halloween????? Our "cute as a bug" girl has to make up for some lost time with Halloween costumes!
So...how does one pick?!? Maybe we need a POLL! Let us know your favorite!
Hard to choose but if I had to I'd go with the bee, the yellow is so perfect for her, she is glowing and shining, so radiant, so perfect. But...can't help loving the lady bug too
I think it might help that the bee photos were taken inside with warm glowing light but it's still a hard choice! I'm leaning with the bee too ESPECIALLY since Joaquin is a bee this year!
She looks beautiful in both of them! But I think I like the bee more.. Maybe because yellow looks great with her blond hair. And if Joaquin is a bee too, that would be great!
I wanted to prefer ladybug since my Quail has a ladybug costume as well- but the glow in those Bee pictures has it all wrapped up! Not to mention Shelly's lovely Thoreau quote. And the bee just exemplifies how she's flourished in your garden!
The bee, she looks beautiful. My kids have all those Pottery Barn costumes and practically need an IV to rehydrate after treat or treating. :) Of course, it's like 90 degrees here on Halloween so... She's Beeeautiful, pick the bee!
My son was a bee for his first Halloween last year too. :) I have to tell you that you cannot go wrong with either costume. She will be adorable no matter what she wears. I'm seriously surprised that a kid's clothing store hasn't approached you about using her as a model, because she is so radiant!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bee costume. Seriously, no matter what you dressed the beautiful Sophia in she would look adorable. But I definitely vote for the bee!
I'm on the same wavelength as Kristin. Depends on the weather. The lady bug has long sleeves looks warmer. The bee if it's warm that night. They are both on her, but all things being equal, I LOVE the bee on her. The teeny wings are really cute. Maybe I'll have C be a bee, too, and use our costume.
I LOVE, love, love the bee costume, but the lady bug is also very cute and looks warmer. My vote is for the BEE, unless weather is an issue! Sofia looks so stinkin' cute in all of those pics.
I love the bee - she looks like a Bee Princess.:-) Although she's just gorgeous in both!!
ReplyDeleteShe is strikingly beautiful! I love both, but am partial to the bee. :) What a gem!
ReplyDeleteHard to choose but if I had to I'd go with the bee, the yellow is so perfect for her, she is glowing and shining, so radiant, so perfect. But...can't help loving the lady bug too
ReplyDeleteShe does look adorable in both, but if I had to vote only once I would say the bee. The yellow really sparkles on her!
ReplyDeleteI love the bee! She's adorable in both though!
ReplyDeleteHave to go with the bee....the yellow looks amazing with her hair and she just glows!

ReplyDeleteShe should wear both. Be a diva and have an outfit change half way thru, lol. They are both too too cute!
ReplyDeleteBe blessed

ReplyDeleteHmmmm... well... I dunno... I would go with the lady bug if brother is a bee too. Although, the bee is adorable... Geeeee, I'm a big help, eh? hehe
ReplyDeleteWe're a house divided. LC votes Ladybug. Jace is 100% for the bee.
ReplyDeleteShe looks beautiful in both of them! But I think I like the bee more.. Maybe because yellow looks great with her blond hair. And if Joaquin is a bee too, that would be great!
