Tropical Storm Joaquin

Joaquin is like a walking hurricane these days...into everything. He is so BUSY and so CURIOUS and so full of MISCHIEF! I've been trying so hard to keep up with our house (since we are still trying to sell it!) and every time I clean up one room, I go into the next and it's like a tornado hit. It happens all. day. long.

He is so inquisitive and wants to explore every inch of his environment and that's wonderful...it's just impossible to keep up with him!

Here he is getting caught in the act of something...

  1. I feel for you- there is no way I could keep this house ready for buyers coming through, and I only have 3 children! And Luke and Joaquin have something in common- mischief! Maybe I'll send you Luke and I have a tidy house-lol!

  2. I so feel your pain...Madi is into EVERYTHING! She is still only cruising on furniture, walls, tables etc but everything in her reach is fair game in her book. I can't imagine trying to sell my house right now! Good luck keeping up with that cute boy!

  3. it is a good thing Whitney doesn't live with you too because then it would be IMPOSSIBLE to have your house on the market - we think whitney is a bit like the tasmanian devil :) at least joaquin looks cute while he is leaving a path of destruction, right!?!

  4. Oh, we are so THERE! I can't take my eyes (or hands) off of him in public. He BOLTS everywhere we go... in Old Sac today, too. Ugh. My house is always upside down right now, too.

  6. yes, she is in a typical preschool....she has a special ed teacher that works with her alot in class and then she has therapists who either work with her in class or pull her out for therapy sessions. there is also 2 regular teachers in the classroom as well. It has been ReALLY good so far! She went for 2 months in the spring and then started again today!

  7. I so understand. We homeschool and our 2 year old Little J tears the house apart. He's not walking yet but can ride his bike pushing over everything in its path. He also walks behind his shopping cart running over everything it its path. He's learned how to pull out baskets and use them as a stepping stone to higher and more dangerous places. It's amazing to see the places this non-walker goes. The cruising has turned into a one handed cruise with the other hand in a constant reaching/swiping motion. Nothing on a table or counter is safe. Even though he can't see it he still grabs at it. Ugh! I say to him all day, "You're lucky you're cute!" Good luck with home sale.
