Living life one day at a time as a family of six...3 busy and bouncy boys and 1 Ukrainian princess. Our third son Joaquin was our unexpected blessing who came to us with a little something extra called Down syndrome and inspired us to adopt Sofia an orphan we fell in love with through Reece's Rainbow. We hope that our story will help open people's eyes to the beauty and gift that ALL children are. We are all more alike than different!
i've never commented but wanted to tell you that i've followed your journey and you have a beautiful family! i am especially smitten with your little joaquin, maybe becasue i have a little boy the same age.
Wonderful to see you all together at last! Congrats Sanchez family! P.S. It was so great to meet you in Kiev. Good ol' TGI Fridays, making memories for a lot of RR families these days. :)
So awesome!!! Do you tear up every time you say or realize you have a daughter? We brought our son home almost 3 weeks ago and I still cant believe its true. I have 4 girls and a boy :) Be blessed!!! Look forward to hearing more about her life here.
Look at those smiles! I loved seeing the boys kiss Sofia when they first met her. Serious TEARS!!! I love her already, Jen. Your little butterball princess has a huge place in my heart. Can't wait for John Michael to meet her. I'm thinking ahead 25 years, but you never know... we might be in-laws one day ;-)
Awesome. Rest up and enjoy each other. Enjoy those quiet moments at home, those little times with just the kids in jammies and lots of cuddles. (After you are rested up, we hope to see you around town this summer!)
I am so happy for you and your family! I have never commented but have been following your blog for about a year...I found you through Lisa at Bridget's Light the day our sweet Maggie was born with DS. You and Lisa gave me so much to look forward to in a world that was completely unknown to me, so a very belated thank you. I have been journaling about our Magpie since she was born, but finally started a blog...www.missmaggierae.blogspot.com...( maybe in all your spare time!!) you can take a look at Miss Maggie, Sophia reminds me sooo much of her!! Many prayers and blessings your way...Patsy
