Living life one day at a time as a family of six...3 busy and bouncy boys and 1 Ukrainian princess. Our third son Joaquin was our unexpected blessing who came to us with a little something extra called Down syndrome and inspired us to adopt Sofia an orphan we fell in love with through Reece's Rainbow. We hope that our story will help open people's eyes to the beauty and gift that ALL children are. We are all more alike than different!

SO Much To Share
But so little time these days....I promise to do a proper update VERY soon.
So for now...here is our little sweetie! This symbolizes her new life. She's a kid in a candy store! Loving every moment of it.
I've been wondering what little Sophia's been up to!!!!! I hope that you don't mind, but I shared your blog post that included the "before adoption" & "after adoption" photos of Sophia with my Facebook friends. I shared the post hoping that it would help further encourage people to donate to the Reece's Rainbow Angel Tree Fund. Praying that some other little angels will be blessed with forever families this Christmas.
I just found your blog tonight. I saw this picture and swore i recognized the candy store. The picture is WAY TOO CUTE btw! So I franticly searched blog post after blog post for clues as to where you might live. Then I saw it, the summer bus cut post, and it said "the weather here in sacramento..." EEEEEEK!!! Can I just say my hear did a little flip flop, ok, a big flip flop! We too live here in sac. I'm a little giddy about finding a "blog friend" that I could potentially meet since we are so close. ANd the comments are the only way I can see to contact you. SO here's my comment. hehe Your family looks amazing! Love all your pics. and it's way too late at night now, but I will be checking out the blog more in future! (i have a blog, but am in the process of updating with birth story etc. it's been one long hard year. Ava (our precious almond eyed girl will be one on saturday!!) if ya wanna take a look it's theuplook.blogspot.com I'm hoping to at least have the birth story up before her birthday, and hopefully update as I recall the memories of these next days from last year. God bless!
