Living life one day at a time as a family of six...3 busy and bouncy boys and 1 Ukrainian princess. Our third son Joaquin was our unexpected blessing who came to us with a little something extra called Down syndrome and inspired us to adopt Sofia an orphan we fell in love with through Reece's Rainbow. We hope that our story will help open people's eyes to the beauty and gift that ALL children are. We are all more alike than different!

A Little Girl Named Sofia...
...has stolen our hearts and we are committed to bringing her home.
We're ADOPTING!!!

This is beyond exciting and has touched my heart more than you can ever know! I cannot wait for the day that Sofia will be home with her forever family.
you have no idea how happy i am to see this post! i, too, saw sophia and loved her for so many reasons. i clicked on her pic so many times and prayed so many times someone would adopt her. i will be stalking your adoption blog now. haha! congrats and i can't wait to follow your journey, how exiting!!
I've been reading your blog quietly for a few months now, and this is the first time I've crawled out of the woodworks to say anything- this is fantastic news, and it made me incredibly happy to read. I had my suspicions at the last post, but didn't think it would actually be this! Congratulations, I'm extremely happy for all of you, and I'm looking forward to reading more about your escapades!
i left a comment on your "sofia" blog - but congratulations, again!!! if you have a "button" or something that I could put on my blog that would link to a place people could donate to help with your adoption, I would LOVE to post something for you. :)
Congrats! I have been following your blog for a bit now! That's very exciting and it sounds like Sofia will have a family with a lot of love to give!! I wanted to check something also-My little guy is ready for an "I did it" shirt (size 6-12 months) are they still available? Please email me at kburns54@gmail.com
Take care, Kristin www.littleliamburns@blogspot.com
I posted on the adoption blog as well, but I didn't realize your name was Jen until now. We could start a club of moms named Jen with daughters named Sophia/Sofia who have Ds. We could be very exclusive! haha OK I'm just excited for you. Also, are you still making I Did It shirts in larger sizes? (as in 3T) ---Jen (mom to Sophia)
